File > New (Command)
What is the command used for?
This command creates a new document.
Short cuts
Invocation via the toolbar:
Invocation via hot key: CTRL + N
Select document name (Dialog)
Function
The function of this dialog differs depending on how you open it:
 If it was opened via File > Export/Import > Export, you can select a document to be exported.
 If it was opened via File > Open you can select a file to load from the database into sample
memory.
 If it was opened via File > Save or File > Save as you can select a file to save from the sample
memory into the database.
Open
Open the dialog via:
Menu command Button Hot key
Datei > Export/Import >
Export --- CTRL + E
File > Open CTRL + O
File > Save CTRL + S
File > Save As. --- ---
Elements
The following describes the elements of the dialog.
Label Element type Meaning
--- Textbox/label
 Field to input a document name, that is automatically
completed if necessary.
 Field displaying a document name if a document is
selected in the listbox below.
Name / Date /
Time / Author /
Mode / Previous
versions /
Signatures Listboxes Fields listing all documents in the database if the filter
function is not enabled.
Selection Checkbox If activated the filter elements "Mode", "From", "To",
"Name" and "Author" will appear.
