Saving and Recalling Traces
Note: This feature is only available if the unit is NOT connected to a
PC. If the unit is connected to a PC, this feature will be disabled.
Traces and instrument setups can be saved to and recalled from the memory in
the unit or on an external USB thumb drive. The Site Analyzer identifies saved
files with the frequency range used, a time-date stamp, and the number of data
measurement points.
Example - A trace filename might be labeled as “25-
6000_07-JUN-2011_084413_475”, where 25-6000 is the
frequency range, 07-JUN-2011_084413 is the time-date
stamp, and 475 is the number of datapoints measured.
Descriptive labels (text and numbers) can also be added to the items. This sec-
tion discusses saving and recalling traces, and creating and editing labels. Refer
to Saving a Setup, page 62 for information about saving instrument setups.
The trace files are approximately 26 KB for a 238 point sweep. Since
the SA-XT trace files are stored in a text-based CSV format they vary in
size a little from file to file.
Saved set ups are are appoximately 23 KB each.
