Span Your Valves

Span your flow valve for optimum velocity performance in three parts:
Confirm critical values
Span your injection flow valve
Test valve linearity with a velocity vs. position profile
Important: You may omit the procedure Span your injection flow valve in
this section if the recorded valve spanning data from the manufacturer in
velocity control limits INC45-48 (chapter 7) are adequate for your
application.
Confirm Critical Values
Confirm that all entries you made for configuration values (chapter 7) and
profile values (chapter 8) are correct for the velocity vs. position profile.
