The IMS-4000 host contains a user replaceable fuse on the main AC power supply, as well as a spare fuse. Both are built into

the power connector and can be accessed with a small flat head screwdriver. See figure 2. Before attempting to replace the

fuse, turn the power switch off and disconnect the power cable. After you remove the cord you will see a small notch along

the bottom edge of the cable entry area of the connector. Insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the notch and force the

fuse holder away from the connector body. There will be a visible fuse held in place by a plastic clamp - this is the fuse that

is actively protecting the device. There will also be a spare fuse located inside the square plastic cavity below the notch. Use

the screwdriver to push out the spare fuse. Replace the blown fuse with the spare and insert the fuse holder back into the

power entry connector. Reattach the power cord and turn the power switch on.

Replacement Fuse: 1.6Amp 250VAC Fast acting 5X20 mm (e.g. Littelfuse # 023501.6HXP)
