Position the pointer over the part of the image you selected.

The pointer changes to the DeScratch icon.

6

Click anywhere in the selected area.

PhotoFlash attempts to remove scratches from the selected area. If you have
trouble removing a scratch with the DeScratch tool, you may find it easier to
use the Remove Scratch command as described in the previous section. The
Remove Scratch command allows you to preview part of an image while you
adjust the Remove Scratch Options dialog box.

Repeating enhancements

You can use the Repeat command to apply an enhancement again and again.
For example, if you click a selected area of an image with the Blur tool and
the area still isn’t blurry enough for you, you can choose Repeat Blur from the
Enhance Menu to blur the area again.

The Repeat command refers by name to the enhancement that you most
recently chose from the Enhance menu or applied with a tool from the Tool
palette. If you haven’t applied an enhancement since you opened PhotoFlash,
the Repeat command changes to Can’t Repeat and is dimmed.
