Section 10: Changing Your Settings
This section explains the device settings for your device. It
includes such settings as: display, security, memory, and any
extra settings associated with your device.
Accessing the Settings Tabs
Ⅲ From the Home screen, tap
(Apps) ➔
(Settings).
– or –
From the Home screen, press
➔
and then
tap Settings.
The four available tabs are then displayed. The
previous Settings list is now broken down into four
available tabs described below.
Settings Tabs - Overview
The Settings are divided into 4 main groups. When the
Settings screen displays, the following tabs are located at the
top of the screen:
Settings Search:
The top of each tab list comes with a search
bar. This feature allows you to search
throughout the available Settings menus and
options for a matching term.
Ex: Entering the term “S Pen” would reveal a
listing of every menu, sub-menu, and option
related to S Pen. Tapping a listed item takes
you directly to that feature.
Connections:
This tab allows you to see all of settings related
to the connection of your device to external
sources. Features include: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth,
Tethering and Mobile HotSpot, Airplane mode,
Download booster, Data usage, Location,
More networks (Default messaging app,
Printing, Mobile networks, VPN, and Wi-Fi
Calling), NFC, S Beam, Nearby devices, and
Screen Mirroring.
