Disabling erroneous syntax warnings
When the C/C++ indexer shows erroneous syntax warnings (as shown in
, you cannot disable the warnings using the Code Analysis property
page as shown in the previous section. You have the option of disabling these warnings altogether
or making them less obtrusive. By making them less obtrusive, you still get the benefit of syntax
checking, but you decrease the annoyance of having valid SQL code marked with warnings.
To change how syntax warnings are displayed, perform the following steps:
1.
Select Window
→Preferences to open the Preferences dialog.
2.
In the Preferences dialog, expand the tree on the left and select General
→Editors→Text

→Annotations to open the Annotations preference page.
3.
In the Annotations page, select C/C++ Indexer Markers (see
