Sync mirror group information—Persistent Reservation tab
The Persistent Reservation tab shows the status of the persistent reservations of the selected synchronous
mirror group, including the registered initiators.

Description
Property
The persistent reservation type. If there is no persistent reservation, the type appears
as None. Other types are:
•
Write exclusive—All initiators can read. Only the initiator that is holding the
reservation can write.
•
Exclusive access—Only the initiator that is holding the reservation can read
or write.
•
Write exclusive/registrants only—All initiators can read. Only registered initi-
ators can write.
•
Exclusive access/registrants only—Only registered initiators can read and
write.
•
Write exclusive/all registrants—All initiators can read. Only registered initiators
can write.
•
Exclusive access/all registrants—Only registered initiators can read and write.
Pr Type
The ID (WWPN) of the holder of the persistent reservation.
•
For most reservation types, this is the initiator port for which the reservation
was established.
•
For the reservation types Write Exclusive—All Registrants and Exclusive Ac-
cess—All Registrants, the holder of the persistent reservation can be any re-
gistered initiator port.
Initiator ID
The reservation key of the holder of the persistent reservation.
•
For most reservation types, this is the registration key of the initiator port for
which the reservation was established.
•
For the reservation types Write Exclusive – All Registrants and Exclusive Access
– All Registrants, the reservation key is 0.
Key
The name of the host that owns the persistent reservation.
Host Name
The ID (WWPN) of the DPM target port that received the reservation from the
holder of the persistent reservation.
Target ID
Active Persist Through Power Loss. Possible values:
•
true—The persistent reservation is preserved indefinitely, even after reboots.
•
false—VSM clears the persistent reservation following a reboot of both DPMs.
APTPL
Information about all initiators registered with the virtual disk for persistent
reservations:
•
Initiator ID
•
Host Name
•
Target ID
