EDIT Command Summary

You can use the EDIT program to create a command file as follows:
6> EDIT INDEX
TEXT EDITOR - T9601B30 - (08MAR87)
$WORK.TASK.INDEX DOES NOT EXIST. SHALL I CREATE IT? yes

1 * create BIGMESS and
2 * make it the current file
