The Line Editor prompts the
user that it is ready to edit a file
and prompts for a command.
The User enters a command:
"What's on line number 3?"
The Line Editor goes back to
the file, finds the contents of
line number 3, and displays it.
Line 3 says:
"And can't find them."
The Line Editor then
prompts for a command.
The User enters a command:
"Change 'can't' to
'doesn't know where to'."
The Line Editor goes back to
the file, finds line number 3,
makes the requested change,
and displays the line.
The User enters a command:
"I want to see my entire file."
Line 3 now says:
"And doesn't know
where to find them."
The Line Editor then
prompts for a command.
The Line Editor displays the
entire contents of the file.
Line 1 says: "Little Bo Peep"
LIne 2 says: "Has lost her sheep"
Line 3 says: "And doesn't
know where to find them"...
