A word is defined as (1) any character string that is preceded and
followed by a space or any character other than a number or letter or (2)
a character string that occurs at the end of a line. For example, if your
file contains the lines:
Old King Cole was a merry old soul,
And a merry old soul was he;
He called for his pipe, and he called for his bowl,
And he called for his fiddlers three.
Every fiddler, he had a fine fiddle,
And a very fine fiddle had he;
Twee, tweedle-dee, tweedle-dee, went the fiddlers.
Oh, there's none so rare as can compare
With King Cole and his fiddlers three.
and you ask EDIT to list all the lines that contain the word fiddle, EDIT
lists the lines:
Every fiddler, he had a fine fiddle
And a very fine fiddle had he;
