5. Installation
For RCP2-RA4R, RA6R, RA8R 50st equipped with the brake, the motor cover/motor-end cover exceed the
datum surface line. Pay attention to the interference of the motor cover when it is installed.

When mounting the unit in the horizontal orientation using the tapped holes on the datum surface, have a
support base as shown in the figure below.

Caution: When mounting the unit with using the datum surface and the back surface, pay attention
so the external force is not applied to the main body. The body or the attachment part on
the back may get damaged.
