Email Settings Page
Reach the Email Settings page (see figure 61) by clicking the
Settings
link on
the System Settings page. The Email Settings page has fields for setting up the e-mail
notification capabilities of the switcher. For the e-mail settings and for each row of the e-mail
notification settings, click
Edit
to make the fields available for editing. The button changes
to
Save
. After editing the associated settings, click
Save
.

Mail IP Address field
The
IP
Address
field displays the IP address and the domain name of the e-mail
server for the facility in which the DMS matrix switcher is installed. Standard IP protocol
rules apply to the Mail IP address
Domain Name field
The
Domain
Name
field displays the domain name that the DMS matrix switcher uses to log
on to the e-mail server. Standard domain name conventions (for example:
xxx.com
) apply.
NOTE: The following characters are invalid or not recommended in a domain name:
{space} @ + ~ , = ‘ [ ] { } < > ’ “ ; : | \ and ?.
