AIRCRAFT ALERTS
The following alerts are configured specifically for the Hawker Beechcraft C90A/GT. White annunciation
window text signifies advisories. See the Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) for recommended pilot actions.

Audio Alert/Voice Message
AVN FAN 1 FAIL – Avionics cooling fan #1 is inoperative.
None
AVN FAN 2 FAIL – Avionics cooling fan #2 is inoperative.
None
MFD FAN FAIL – MFD cooling fan is inoperative..
None
PFD 1 FAN FAIL – PFD #1 cooling fan is inoperative.
None
PFD 2 FAN FAIL – PFD #2 cooling fan is inoperative.
None
AURAL ALERTS
The following aural alerts are announced by the system using a voice of male or female gender (see the
AUX - System Setup Page for the default configured voice gender; contact a Garmin-authorized service center
to change the audio alert voice). If the optional Terrain-SVS or the optional Terrain Awareness and Warning
System is installed, voice alerts are also generated (refer to the Terrain-SVS Alerts or TAWS Alerts section).
Aural Alert
Description
“Minimums”
The aircraft has descended below the preset minimum descent altitude or decision altitude.
“Vertical track”
The aircraft is one minute from Top of Descent. Issued only when vertical navigation is enabled.
“Traffic”
Played when a Traffic Advisory (TA) is issued with the TIS system.
“Traffic Not Available” The aircraft is outside the Traffic Information Service (TIS) coverage area.
“Traffic, Traffic”
Played when first Traffic Advisory (TA) is issued with an optional TAS system. “Traffic” for each
subsequent TA.
“Traffic Advisory System
Test Passed”
Played when the optional KTA 870 or Skywatch HP TAS system passes a pilot-initiated self test.
“Traffic Advisory System
Test Failed”
Played when the optional KTA 870 or Skywatch HP TAS system fails a pilot-initiated self test.
“Skywatch System Test
Passed”
Played when the optional SKY497 TAS system passes a pilot-initiated self test (optional).
“Skywatch System Test
Failed”
Played when the optional SKY497 TAS system fails a pilot-initiated self test (optional).
