Serial Commands – Setup
Command Syntax
set serial [s0] auto-dialin
Description
Enables/disables the device port to Internet connectivity for the serial port
S0. This command is valid only for device port S0
Default Value

1. Too few arguments
“Usage: set serial s0 auto-dialin
Type ‘set serial s0 auto-dialin ? for more information”
2. Multiple matches
auto-dialin auto-dialin-protocol auto-dialout-protocol

auto-dialin-port auto-dialout-port
3. Invalid string
“error: Invalid string
Type ‘set serial s0 auto-dial-in ? for more information”
4. If “set serial s1 auto-dialin
“error: Command not supported on the modem port s1”
Command Syntax
set serial [s0] auto-dialin-ipaddress
Description
Specifies the auto dial-in IP address.
Note:
When a connection is established from serial, a session is
established to the IP address mentioned above.
This command is valid only for device port S0.
