Send as Lead Sheet
If you have chords in your Chord Track, you can check the box in the Studio One ‘Send to Notion’ dialog, to apply lead-
sheet formatting to imported note data:
If more than one instrument track is sent to Notion, then go into the individual parts (Score>Dynamic Parts . . .) to see each
leadsheet (rather than a full score) . Note that all the chords are transposed automatically (as in above example for Tenor
Sax), saving a lot of head-scratching in the middle of a recording session when you just need a quick lead sheet!
If the top instrument on a full score is a transposing instrument (e.g. Alto Sax in Eb), then the chords on the full score may be
transposed accordingly. You can choose to see the chords in concert pitch if required, by either:
a) Go to View>Concert Tuning to see the whole score (including chords) in concert, or:
b) Go to Score>Full Score Options>More>Transpose Chords... to see just the chords in concert pitch (leaving the score itself
transposed
