Setting IPs with the GV Switcher Installer Program
The GV Switcher Installer Program can be used to set IP addresses of the
Karrera Video Processor Frame and Karrera Control Panels
When the Karrera software package has been deployed to your Menu Panel
or PC, the GV Switcher Installer icon will appear on the desktop

A mouse and keyboard is required to navigate through the GV Switcher
Installer program and enter IP numbers and system names. Standard USB
devices can be connected to any of four available ports on the Karrera Menu
Panel.
Karrera System Names
The GV Switcher Installer program includes a hierarchy display of Karrera
system components. This hierarchy starts with the name of the Karrera
system, and groups that system’s Video Processor Frame with the Control
Panel(s) configured with that Frame. The Karrera system name is taken
from the Video Processor Frame name. This hierarchy allows easy identifi-
cation of each Karrera system when multiple systems reside on the same
network (
