The Ripple soft knob controls and wave patterns are the same as Posi-
tion/Size (except no H/V Angle control) (see Modulation Pane
and
Figure 47. Kurl Menu, Ripple
Position/Aspect
Data Pad—Soft knob controls are provided to control various
attributes of the Ripple pattern (
):
H Position
— controls the horizontal position of the center of the ripple.
V Position
— controls the vertical position of the center of the ripple.
Aspect —
stretches the ripple horizontally or vertically.
H/V Angle —
adjusts the angle of the ripple, horizontally and vertically.
Slits Mode
Slits is an effect in which the source video is split into a number of parallel
slits. The width of the slits may be uniform or random, and an angle may
be specified. An offset function is provided which controls the amount of
displacement of alternating slits in opposite directions (to cause a transition
type effect).
