The TWTA is controlled using a discrete signal type interface. Table Chapter 2-2 lists
the pinouts for the 32-pin M&C connector.

Notes:
1. AC Power ON (Pin A) — Connect to ground (Pin Z) to apply power to unit.
2. High Voltage Enable (Pin F) — Connect to ground (Pin Z) to turn high
voltage ON.
3. Heater Standby (Pin J) — Connect to ground (Pin Z). The HV Enable
command overrides this command when enabled. If the HV Enable is
removed, TWT will return to a reduced TWT heater voltage.
An external control and monitor device may be connected to the TWTAs for operation of
the power amplifier. The optional EFData HPC-1200 controller can be used for this
purpose.
