5.2 Maintenance and Service
This section covers preventative maintenance and operator troubleshooting.
5.2.1 Preventative Maintenance
Preventative maintenance is limited to cleaning the unit and checking external
connections. Proceed as follows:
1. Clean the front panel and top cover, as required, with a soft, damp cloth.
Note: When cleaning the front panel, do not disturb the front panel switch
settings.
2. Check the integrity of the interconnecting cable(s) and connectors.
5.2.2 Operator Troubleshooting
Proceed as follows:
1. Press the LAMP TEST Switch UP. All indicators should light. If any indicator
does not light, repair and service may be required. If necessary, contact the
EFData Customer Support Department.
2. Check that all cable connectors are properly seated on the rear panel of the
controller and at the TWTA. Seat the connectors as required. If the problem
persists, repair and service may be required. If necessary, contact the EFData
Customer Support Department.
3. Check the interconnecting cables for signs of physical deterioration or damage.
If there are signs of damage, contact the EFData Customer Support Department.
4. If the problem persists, note which indicators are dark, and the positions of the
front panel switches. Then, contact the EFData Customer Support Department.
