Viewing Known WWNs
This function allows the user to view a list of 16 server WWNs. The controller will be aware
of any server that was booted since the controller was last restarted. Typically, servers will
scan for devices during the device discovery process. During this process, the controller will
save the WWN information for the server and retains the information even after the controller
is rebooted. The list includes the last 16 servers (either booted or named).
The user can determine each server's WWN by booting one server at a time and then viewing
the WWN list. The most recently booted server will be listed first. To make LUN zoning easier
To make LUN zoning easier to manage, it is recommended that each server be given an easily
recognizable name (alias).
