15.1 Maintenance
■ Calibration
The T Г404 converter has a reference sigEnil genera Ling circuit. This reference iiignal can be
used to check Ihe zero and ярап of the converter for Ihe piarpose of inslrnmciitation
maintenance or periodical inspection. See Chapter 9, ‘'Calibration. '
Fuse
The fuse can be taken out by unscrewing the cap of the fuse holder. Check that the fuse is
not damaged. The fuse has to be replaced periodkaJly. The recommended replacement
period is 3 years.

LCD display (optional)
If the characters displayed on the 1 CD are dimmed or blurred, the LCD display should be
replaced. To extend Ihe life of the flowmeter, replace the LCD early. To check and replace
the LCD display, contacl your nearest Toshiba representative.
Power supply unit
Electronic componcius deteriorate faster when ihe ambient temperature is high. The Jife of
Ihe power supply unit in the convener is 9 to 10 years if the ambieni temperature is 41)'’ C ,
and 5 to 6 years if it is .50'^ C, To extend the life of the flowmeter, we recommend you
replace the power supply unit cEirly. Contact your nearest Toshiba rcprcscniative for a
flowmeter inspection or unit replacement.
