11,2 Communicatinns Procedure

Basic operiUiohs of the AFIOO terminal are as follows. See the Insiruction manual

of the AFliM) terminal for details.

[Operations]

Making sore the probe cable of the AFIOO is connected to the

flowmeter output lino, turn on the power of the AFIOO,

After the initial display, date and time setting display appears.

Enter the current date and time, and press [ENTER].

[*rcss [E-]NTE-R] only for date and lime not to be changed.

Function menu appears. Select [FI : Sensor],

Data transmission starls. Various flowmcier data wUI be

transmitted to the AFIOO.

Select whether you wish to change/ write data to the flowmeter

or simply read data from the flowmeter:

• Prc.ss [YES] and [I’NTFR] lo change/write data; or

• Press [NO] and [ENTER] lo read data only.

Operation menu appears. Select the desired operation item.

The data of the selected operation item appears.

To change daiEi, press [SET], enter new data, and prc.ss

[ENTER]. The new data will be transmitted to the flowmeter.

Then the new data appears on the AFl(M). Make sure the data is

correct.

When all the operations are completed, press [ESC] as

many times as necessary to return to the operation menu.

Then remove the AFIOO probe cable from the flowmeter

output line and turn off the povr'er of the AFIOO.

NOTES

Pressing [ESC] continuously, ihe system goe.s back to “Write protect/permit.".

Pressing [HOME] continuously, the system goes back to ‘Tunction menu.'’
