7.2.4 Piston cleaning disc, cleaning
NOTICE
Risk of electrical damage.
Connecting the piston cleaning discs can cause electrical damage due to miss­
ing tubes.
u Do not remove the plugs of the piston cleaning disc in­ and outlet.
u The piston cleaning discs need to be installed by a BUCHI customer ser­
vice representative.

7.3 Replacement
CAUTION
Risk of chemical burns due to high pressure in the system.
Liquid can escape from fittings or connections and minor injuries can result.
u Wear protective goggles.
u Wear protective gloves.
u Wear protective clothes.
7.3.1 UV Detector cover, removal
WARNING
Risk of electric shock.
Serious injuries can result.
u Switch off the system.
u Disconnect all 5 power supply cables.
u Wait until the detector lamp is cooled down (approx. 15 minutes).
u 6.2 Switch off the system [ } page 71].
u Disconnect all 5 power supply cables.
u Disconnect the RS232 cable from the UV Detector module.
u Let the lamp cool down 15 minutes.
u Remove the tubes from the UV Detector module.
u Remove 2 hex screws (1), washers, spacers and the left column hold­
er (2).
u Remove the UV Detector module and place it on a suitable place.
