5.3 Electrical, connection
5.3.1 Communication and power supply, connection
NOTICE
Risk of communication error.
RS232 cables which are not secured with the 2 screws on the plug can cause a
communication error.
u Always tighten the 2 screws on the plug when connected.
u Connect the electric cable RS232 (1) from COM 1 to the UV Detector
module and secure it with the 2 screws on each plug.
u Connect the electric cable RS232 (5) from COM 2 to the injection valve
module and secure it with the 2 screws on each plug.
u Connect the electric cable RS232 (4) from COM 3 to the pump module
and secure it with the 2 screws on each plug.
u Connect the electric cable RS232 (3) from COM 4 to the fraction collector
and secure it with the 2 screws on each plug.

u Connect all 5 external power supply cables to the socket (2) of each mod­
ule.
