Setup View Method View Current Method – opens,
when the system is stopped, the
tabbed window to visualize the last
applied method.
File File Manage­
ment Opens the wizard for methods and
data file management. That com­
prises the creation, edition, copying,
backup and deletion of all the files
in relation with the software.
Control Next Change collection to the next tube.
Control Waste Change from collect to waste.
Control Collect all Continuous collection into glass
tubes.
Control Threshold col­
lection Starts (or restarts) a collection
mode according to the threshold ad­
justed and the current absorbance
signal.
• When the signal is below the
threshold, the liquid flows to
waste.
• When the signal is above the
threshold, the liquid is collected
into glass tubes according to a
volume given.
Control Automatic Gra­
dient Optimiza­
tion Activates the AGO feature which
holds current gradients parameters
when a peak appears above the se­
lected threshold during a separa­
tion.
Control Local Minimum Activates Local Minimum feature
which moves the needle to the next
glass tube during a collection phase
when an inflection of the signal ap­
pears on the chromatogram.
– Purge
Air purge
Purge allows to prime the pump, all
tubing without entering the chro­
matography column, if using the 3­
way stainless steel purge valve.
Air purge allows to dry the flash
chromatography column.
Control Run Starts the method currently opened/
edited on the main screen.
