2.3 Controller Box Disassembly
WARNING
The
880
has no on/off switch. Before opening the unit, ensure the power cord is disconnected from the
power outlet.
Note
Enclosure disassembly is not required to make connections for load cells, serial communications, or digital I/O.
These connectors are all externally mounted on the back of the controller.
1. Disconnect power to the unit.
2. Unplug all connectors from the backplate. See Figure 2-12 for connector locations.
Rotate left and right hook
down away from the DIN rail.

Cable Assembly
A slot has been provided to
assist in the rotating of the DIN
hook. Use a screwdriver or
similar object to rotate if
needed.

3. Rotate left and right hooks away from the DIN rail clip.
4. Carefully remove the controller box from the DIN rail.
5. Disconnect the display cable harness.
