Disengage the hooks and remove the
rear covers from Tray 2’s unit and the
other lower feeder unit(s).

Open the cable holders on
Tray 2’s unit.
Closing the cable holders during
installation is not required until
step 18, but you may find it easier
to handle the harnesses if they are
kept in closed cable holders while
you are working on other steps.

Unplug both ends of the power
supply harness A (with core
attached) that is connected to the
back of the printer and to Tray 2’s
unit.

Unplug the control harness
connected to the back of
the printer from Tray 2.
