Installing the Duplex Unit

Turn off the printer, and unplug the power cord.
Attention
Unplug the power cord from the printer, not from the outlet.

Remove the duplex unit from the shipping carton and remove any packing
material from the duplex unit.
We
strongly suggest that you save the packing materials in case
you ever need to move or ship the printer.

Remove the two screws securing the
cover on the upper-right side of the
printer.

Pull up the lock release lever to open the right-side door.
