Smoothing
Prints the curved section of characters and images smoothly, when this
printing system is used.

[Type1] is suitable for printing the diagonal lines of normal characters and
graphics.

[Type2] is suitable for printing the curved sections of normal characters.

[Type3] is suitable for printing the curved sections of ornamental writings
and fine characters.

No [Smoothing] function is available when [Print Quality] is set to [1200
dpi].
Fine Line Precision
A setting is made when you want to make characters fine so that they be-
come easy to read.
A selection is made from among Level 1 and 4 for [Fine Line Precision]. The
larger the level number, the more fine the characters printed.
Object
If [Fine Line Precision] is set, either [Text] or [All-image] must be selected as
the precision target.
Date/Time
Specify the pages to print the date and time.
All pages:
Date/Time is printed in all the pages.
1st Page Only:
Date/Time is printed in the 1st page only.
Copy Protect
When you want to make a printing with the copy protect set to prevent an
unauthorized copying, make a selection of [On] and then set [Preset Stamp]
and [Back Pattern].
