12. Note the position of the PULSAR adjustment shaft 'flats'. They mate with a slot in the DLCM drive

coupling of the output shaft. The output shaft is connected to the adjustment knob. Familiarize
yourself with these mating components prior to installation (refer to Figure 30).

13. Locate the face on the bottom of the DLCM that mates with the face of the lip of the gear box.

The DLCM is normally oriented such that the control pad and display sit to the left of the pump's
reagent head (as viewed standing in front of the reagent head looking at the motor). The conduit
connections and access panel (with Serial Tag) reside at the rear of the pump near the gear box (refer to
Figure 31).
