Step Action
1 Follow the procedures under Getting Started, page 4-2.
2 Place the update disk from Ag Leader Technology into your PC’s
3.5-inch floppy drive.
3 Click on the Program button in the GPS 2000/2100 Utilities
window.
4 The program checks your A: drive to find the update file. Select the
file name in the white dialog box and click OK.
Note: If you downloaded the update file from the Internet, select
the drive and location of the file in the Open window.
5 Set the GPS 2000/2100 display in standard mode. Press the SETUP
key until PROGRAM is displayed above F1. Press F1.
6 Follow the directions in the GPS Dialog box to prepare for the
update and make sure the unit is in PROGRAM mode.
7 Press the ENTER key on the GPS 2000/2100 to begin the update
process.
Result: The GPS 2000/2100 will restart itself when the first stage
of the update is done.
Note: To abort the update, press the down arrow key on the unit.
8 Set the GPS 2000/2100 back into PROGRAM mode and press the
ENTER key on the unit. This will complete the final stage of the
update.
Note: Do not abort this stage of the update. The update could
become corrupted if this part of the update is disrupted.
After the update is complete, the GPS 2000/2100 will restart itself and all
program updates will be available.
