This window displays all the logged data that the user picked to
display. To edit a value, double-click on the value and a dialog
box will appear for the entire record. Type in the new value and
click OK to make the change. To delete an entire record click
on the DELETE button and the records values will be deleted.

Click on FILE and select the format that you wish to save the
edited data in. It is recommended that you save the edited file
under a different name so that you keep the original file for
later use.
Separating fields
in the AL2000
format
When downloading files in the AL2000 format from the GPS
2000/2100 or converting from the INTERNAL format to AL2000 the
user will more than likely have more than one field included in the
file. When making maps the user would typically map each field
separately. This can be accomplished by using a common spreadsheet
program such as Excel or by using the utilities program.
The following describes how to create AL2000 ( .txt) files for a
selected field out of a current file:
Step
Action
1
Start the GPS 2000 Utilities program.
2
Click on the MEMORY button.
3
Click on the EDIT AL2000 button.
4
Click on BROWSE and select the .txt file to capture data from.
5
Use the down arrow beside Field Number to select the specific
field to create a file for. Or the user could select GRAB ALL to
create a new file with all the fields in the file selected.
6
Click on the GRAB button. The program automatically creates
a new file with the selected file name plus the field number that
was selected in the ALEXPORT folder.
