Installing the Cache Accelerator
The Cache Accelerator is required for a server employing five or more
processors. Do not use the Cache Accelerator option for less than five
processors. The following paragraphs provide guidelines on determining
which configuration is best for your system.
ProLiant DL760 servers have two processor buses.

Processors should be added to fill bus 1 before adding processors to bus 2. If
processors occupy slots of both processor buses, then the Cache Accelerators
for both buses must be installed for proper operation.
