7. Check the Integrated Management Display (IMD) for the following
“normal power-up sequence” to verify that your system meets the
minimal hardware requirements and is powered up under normal
operation:
a. The front panel system LED turns from standby (blinking green) to
on (solid green).
b. The fans start up.
c. The IMD displays messages regarding the server name and LCD
firmware version.
d. The IMD displays messages regarding server initialization in the
following sequence:

System initialization
G
PCI auto-configuration
G
Video initialization. If a monitor is connected, it also displays the
Compaq initialization screen.
G
Processor initialization
G
Memory test
G
Memory initialization
G
Diskette drive
G
Option ROM
G
SCSI devices
8. The operating system loads to complete the boot process.
