Installing Hardware Options - Server
Power Off
The following instructions are provided as an overview for installing hardware
option upgrades. Compaq recommends that you use the documentation
provided with the hardware option for complete installation instructions. You
can also refer to the Compaq ProLiant DL760 Quick Installation and
Hardware Configuration poster included in the shipping box or the labels
attached to the top panel of the server.

the installation of options other than hot-plug power supplies and hot-plug hard
drives should be performed only by individuals who are qualified in servicing
computer equipment and trained to deal with products capable of producing

you are properly grounded before beginning any installation procedure. See
Appendix B, “Electrostatic Discharge,” for more information.
