Removing the Media Module

CAUTION: Do not attempt to open any of the three modules while power is
applied to the system. They are not hot-pluggable. Immediate system shutdown
and data loss will occur.

To remove the media module:

1. If the server is on, place it in Standby mode and disconnect the power

cord or cords. See Chapter 7, “Server Power.”

2. Push in the sides of the cam levers on the media module

and rotate

the top of the levers downward

, as shown in Figure 3-8.

3. Pull the media module out of the chassis until it makes contact with the

module stop latch
