Setting up with the Compaq Integrated
Management Display Utility
After installing the hardware and software, you need to configure the IMD
using the Compaq Integrated Management Display Utility.
To run the Compaq Integrated Management Display Utility:
1. Boot the computer and log on to the system as Administrator or a user
with administrator privileges.
2. Select Start, Programs, Compaq System Tools, Compaq Integrated
Management Display Utility.
3. Select the Field box and click on the down arrow to bring up a pull
down selection of the various fields of the IMD to edit.
4. Select Idle Screen. You have three lines of information that can be
displayed on the IMD.
5. To change the value in line 1, line 2 and line 3 click on the arrow to the
right of the line.
6. Select Save to finish editing. This will save your changes and update the
IMD.
7. Select Exit to return to the system.
