4. Rotate the ejector levers fully to unseat the processor terminator board
from the socket
. Remove the processor terminator board by pulling it
out by the handle
. Retain the board for future use.
NOTE: If you remove a Pentium III Xeon processor, the processor terminator board must
be reinstalled before powering up the server.

5. Remove the memory board for easier access to the processor bus/core
ratio switch.
6. Locate the processor bus/core ratio switches for the processor buses. See
the beginning of this section or the access panel label for details.
7. Check the processor bus/core ratio switches of both processor buses to
ensure that the switches are in the default position (all switches OFF).
CAUTION: The server may not boot if the bus/core ratio switches are set to a
speed higher than the slowest processor. Failure to properly set the bus/core
ratio switches could cause damage to the server and could void your warranty.
Compaq recommends that the bus/core ratio switches remain in the default
position (all switches OFF).
NOTE: The Pentium III Xeon processor and Processor Power Modules are keyed to ensure
correct alignment.
