Define a second target system (for example, the synchronous backup system SystemB) for the
current backup system. On the current backup system (SystemC), enter:

# creatercopytarget IP : :

- Name of the Remote Copy target system (SystemB).

IP

- Specifies an IP link.

:

- Node on SystemC that contains the IP connections to the target

system, expressed as node:slot:port, and the IP address for the target system (SystemB)
(0:1:1:10.100.33.195 and 1:3:2:10.101.33.195).

Checking the Links between Systems

1.

Issue the showrcopy command on the primary system (for example, SystemA).

# showrcopy

2.

Verify that:

The Target Information area shows a Status of ready.

The Link Information area shows a Status of Up for all the links.

For example, showrcopy output on SystemA looks like:
