Important Information about E-mail Access.
NOTE When using Authentication, on Windows, Novell, or Kerberos
Networks, the User login id is validated. In addition if LDAP is
enabled a search is done for LDAP attribute UID.
If a match is found the “From” address will be filled out with the
proper and complete E-mail address or “friendly name”. At this
point the “From” field will not be an editable field.
If a match can not be found the “From” field will be completed with
the users login id @domain.name. At this point the “From” field will
be editable.
When using Guest access the “From” field is always editable.
