5.4.3 Response
Strings
The response strings tell the ZyWALL the tags, or labels, immediately preceding the various call parameters
sent from the WAN device. The response strings have not been standardized; please consult the
documentation of your WAN device to find the correct tags.
To edit the advanced setup for the Dial Backup port, move the cursor to the Edit Advanced Setup field in
Menu 2 - WAN Setup, press the [SPACE BAR] to select Yes and then press [ENTER].

second wait, e.g., “~~~+++~~ath” can be used if your modem has a
slow response time.
