Changing passwords
You need the programming template found at the front of this guide. See
‘‘Getting started with Norstar’’ on page 15 for more information.
1.
Press
²¥¥ЫЯЯЬЭЭ.
2.
Press
ЫЬЯЭЯ (the default System Coordinator password).
3.
Press ‘ four times. Passwords displays.
4.
Press ≠. Call Log pswds displays.
5.
Press ‘ until you see Progrming pswds ˆ.
6.
Press ≠. Sys Admin: displays.
7.
Press ‘ until you see the name of the password you want to
change.
8.
Use ≠, CHANGE and the dialpad to enter the new password.
Press OK to accept the new password.
You cannot erase or eliminate the ability to program passwords.
Clearing a Call Log password
If an individual has forgotten their Call Log password, you can clear it in
programming. The individual can then enter a new password from his or
her telephone.

3.
Press ‘ four times. Passwords displays.
4.
Press ≠. Call Log pswds displays.
5.
Press ‘ until the display shows Call log pswds.
6.
Press ≠ and enter the internal telephone number of the
telephone where you want to clear the Call Log password.
7.
Press ≠, then press CLR to clear the password.
