Turning off an alarm
When the alarm rings, the user can release the ring by doing one of the
following, depending on the type of telephone in the room:
Digital set: Press any button except
³.
Analog set: Lift and replace the handset.
³ acts like a snooze alarm and will temporarily disable the alarm for a
programmed period. Refer to ‘‘Service times’’ on page 187.
If the user is on a call when the alarm sounds, they can press any button
except
¨, which would release the call instead.
