Chapter 9. MEMORY CARD OPERATIONS

Auto load using external switch inputs

Conditions

Memory card : Program saved to file number 1

Setup data

: any of

C71

to

C74

is set to 8 (autoload)

Mode

: READY mode, normal display mode

Operation and action

Insert a memory card and turn off the external switch used for autoload and turn it

back on again.

The

DCP552

operates as follows.

AUtO

” is displayed in display panel 1 and “

LOAd

” is displayed in display

panel 2.

When program number 1 has been loaded onto the

DCP552

, program number

1 disappears.

File number 1 on a memory card is loaded onto the

DCP552

as program

number 1.

When a load operation is successful, the “

AUtO

” and “

LOAd

” indications go

off and the normal display mode appears.

Unless the number of a program is selected using external switch inputs,

program 1 in segment 1 is selected.

If the load operation fails, the “

AUtO

” and “

LOAd

” indications stay on and an

error code is displayed in the message panel.

When an error has occurred, press the

DISP key

to return to the normal display

mode.

Handling Precautions

Variable parameter PA05 can be set to 1 or 0.
