5 Repeat step 4 to change the Subnet Mask and Default Route (gateway), if needed, using the
commands
nm xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
to change the Subnet Mask and
dg xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
to
change the default gateway.
B.2 Boot Up
Make sure the EIA-232 port is connected to a PC or terminal with a straight through cable (not
provided). Run terminal emulation software (i.e., HyperTerminal) and make sure the settings
match the LD5200 EIA-232 port configuration; refer to “P1: EIA-232 Connector” on page 19
for port configuration details. When the LD5200 is powered up, diagnostics are performed.
The boot ROM and flash program code are verified.
B.3 Main Menu
Once the system is entirely booted, press the Enter key on your PC or terminal to display the
Main Menu.
