A.1 Update the LD5200 Firmware
1 Firmware updates are available online at rletech.com/resources/firmware . Locate the most
recent firmware (.bin file) for the LD5200. Using the same filename, save the file to a local
drive and note the file’s location.
IMPORTANT Do not change the name of the firmware file when you save it. The LD5200 will not recognize
a renamed file.
2 Access the LD5200’s web interface. Click on the Configuration tab at the top of the page,
and then the System/Flash Management link on the left hand side of the page.

3 Click the Download Configuration File (.cfg) link. Download your LD5200’s .cfg file to a
local drive. This serves as a backup of your module’s configuration information.
4 Click the Browse button.
5 Locate and select the firmware file (.bin) that you saved from the RLE website.
