D.1. Troubleshooting Problems with the LD5200
Problem Action
Control Panel will not
Power Up
1 Check with a DVM (digital volt meter) for AC input power on the
AC power input terminal. If no AC power is present at the
terminal block, check the input circuit breaker that powers the
LD5200. If voltage is present, go to step 2.
2 Check for 24 VDC at input power terminal block, TB7 pins 1 and
2. If no voltage is present across these pins, the power supply
has failed. Contact RLE Technologies for a replacement. If
voltage is present, contact RLE Technologies for further
troubleshooting.
Unit Powers Up
without Proper
Display on LCD
1 Open the front door and verify that the connectors that link J2 on
the LCD display board with J4 on the main board are fully
connected and the wires are undamaged.
2 Update the front panel LCD’s firmware. Refer to “System/Flash
Management” on page 81 for more detailed instructions.
