Before Use
About the configuration software
The configuration software integrates the safety device configuration
software made by KEYENCE. The consists of the following two software
applications.
•
Safety light curtain GL-R Series configuration software .
• Safety light curtain SL-V configuration software .
Point Configuration data created by the configuration software cannot be uploaded to GL-RHG.
The configuration software can only monitor GL-RHG.
System Requirements
To use the configuration software, the following system requirements must be met.
*1 Only Windows 7 supports 64-bit platform.
The OS supports Japanese, English, German, Italian, French and Simplified Chinese.
With the 64-bit platform of OS, "SL-V Configurator" is not installed.
*2 If ".NET Framework 2.0" and ".NET Framework 4.0" have not been installed onto the PC, ".NET
Framework 2.0" and ".NET Framework 4.0" will be automatically installed when this software is
installed.
The following conditions must be satisfied to install ".NET Framework 2.0" and ".NET Framework 4.0".
•
Hard disk space: 1.2 GB or more (For 64-bit platform: 2.1 GB or more)
• Windows Installer 3.1 or later versions has been installed.
• Internet Explorer 5.01 or later versions has been installed.
CPU Pentium 1.2GHz or more

Windows XP (SP3 or later versions)
Windows Vista (SP1 or later versions)
Windows 7
Memory capacity 512 MB or more
Hard disk free space 30 MB or more
Communication interface USB 1.1/2.0
Display XGA (1024×768) or greater, 256 colors or greater (High Color or better recommended)
Operating condition .NET Framework 4.0 has been installed. *2
