Setting the Still Image Size
1. From the recording menu (
p.34), select [STILL IMAGE SIZE].
Use the jog dial to select [STILL IMAGE SIZE] and then press the OK
( ) button.
2. Select the still image size.
Use the jog dial to select the size and then press the OK ( ) button.
WIDE:
1920 × 1080 pixels
NORMAL: 1440 × 1080 pixels
Approximate Number of Available Still Image Shots
The table below shows the approximate number of still images that can be
recorded.
Because the amount of data used varies depending on the size of each
image, the number of storable images listed below is approximate and may
vary.

1GB = 1 billion bytes. The actual formatted capacity may be lower than the
figure shown here.

Because part of the memory on an SD card is used as a management area
for features such as the copyright protection function, the actual memory
available is slightly less than the displayed amount.

The number of available shots actually displayed will vary depending
on the image size and the amount of space available on the drive.
The still image size setting is retained if you switch to auto mode. You
can also change the setting.
